March is Women in History Month.

Did you know that it was not until 1900 that women achieved the full right to own their own property and keep their wages in all the states in the U.S ? Elizabeth Cady Stanton published the “Declaration of Sentiments.” using the "Declaration of Independence as a framework for "Women's Rights". We are grateful to the women in history from suffrage to wage equality, for the protections we take for granted. We know were hard-won, and many suffered greatly.
